Privacy Notice - effective date March 1, 2018.

Xpedicare, LLC (“Xpedicare”) operates the website located at xpedicare.com, other related websites and mobile applications (collectively, the “Site”). Through the Site, we operate online services that enable members (“Members”) to receive telehealth services (“Services”) from licensed healthcare providers.

Individually identifiable information that you provide to us for purposes of obtaining medical care through Xpedicare is referred to as “Protected Health Information” or “PHI”.

De-Identified Information”, means information about you but that does not identify you. De-Identified Information may be used without restriction.

Please read the Privacy Policy carefully so that you can understand how Xpedicare collects, uses, and discloses information from and/or about you when you use the Site or the Services. HIPAA

The healthcare providers (“Providers”) that you interact with when using the Services are required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) to describe their privacy practices in document called a Notice of Privacy Practices which is available here.

The HIPAA Notice describes how Xpedicare and the Providers can use and share your PHI and also describes your rights with respect to your PHI. To the extent that there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the HIPAA Notice with respect to PHI, the HIPAA Notice will prevail.

Third Party Sites

This Site contains links to other sites. Xpedicare does not share PHI with those sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

To access and use our services, XpediCare must collect certain information about you. This information may be collected directly from you or on Website applications or other form. The information we collect may include:

  • Health Information that you provide us, which may include information or records relating to your medical history, laboratory/diagnostic results, diagnostic images, images or videos associated with a consultation, and other health related information.
  • Health information about you prepared by the Providers who provide the Services through the Site such as medical records, treatment and examination notes, and other health related information.
  • Billing information that you provide us.
  • Information about the computer or mobile device you are using, such as what Internet browser you use, the kind of computer or mobile device you use, and other information about how you use the Site.
  • Other information you input into the Site or related services.
  • We may combine such information with information we already have about you.

The location information is used to match you with a provider that is licensed to provide care at your geographic location.

    Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the Site. Google Analytics uses Cookies to collect information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site. The Cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

    We use industry standard measures to help protect information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your Personal Information.

    However, you should be aware that no systems for storage or transmission of information over a public network such as the internet can be 100% secure.

    Please note that any emails that you send to us are not encrypted. You should not communicate any personal information over email.

    We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to create accounts that allow the use of the Services.
